Reservation & Confirmation

All agreed-upon reservation requests must be accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the service including air fare. A down payment shall in no way constitute a confirmation of reservation. Upon final confirmation of reservation, Full cost  and/or balance become due and must be immediately settled.

 
 

 Payment 

Accepted  modes of payment are: Cheque, cash, local wire transfer, or a credit card. Payment by credit card will incur a surcharge of 3% to final agreed-upon price.

 
 

 Cancellation charges prior to departure

If a client decides to cancel his/her reservation before any confirmation is obtained, down payment will then be refunded to client less any charges incurred by The Orientals if any. Cancellation charges vary from one country to another. Such information will be clearly communicated to client prior to any reservation or confirmation of service. Once a  client  requests a booking, then it will be agreed that client has read, understood and agreed to all terms and conditions stipulated herein and within any correspondence between The Orientals and client.

 
 

 Amendment Fees & Change of Reservation

An amendment and/or a change of reservation may draw charges. Such information will be communicated to client prior to any amendment of reservation. 

 
 

 

 Cancellations and refunds after departure

Once travel commenced, there will be no refund for unused portions of ground arrangements. If The Orientals or one of their suppliers decide to terminate a tour due to reasons defined by The Orientals as “force majeure”, a refund for the unused services will then be made. The amount of refund will be decided by The Orientals and/or their suppliers.

 
 

 Limitations of Liability

The Orientals and its representatives  act solely as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors who provide the means of transportation, accommodation and all other general and related services. The Orientals cannot & will not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by The Orientals. The Orientals' responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfer and tours, is governed by the respective laws of the countries in which the tours take place and no other country. Each exchange voucher/order and ticket is to be considered as a binding contract with the person or party named wherein. The Orientals  cannot accept responsibility for losses or expenses due to delays or  changes in schedules, hotel overbooking, sickness, weather conditions,  earthquakes, strikes, political upset or items of similar nature.

Obtaining visas to various countries is the sole responsibility of the passenger. If client‘s visa application was rejected after booking and reservation arrangements were made and confirmed, cancellation charges will then apply. The Orientals will not be held responsible for any denial of entry to any country by the country's authorities.

Prices of all published services are in Jordanian Dinars and are subject to change without prior notice. If at any time published services - including but not limited to tours, hotels and deals - expire or become unavailable for any reason, then an alternative may be given. Accordingly rates may vary.
